Urologist

Priv. Doz. Dr. med. Gernot Bonkat is board-certified urologist and lecturer at the University of Basel. From 2014 to 2016, he was a senior attending physician at the Department of Urology at the University Hospital of Basel. PD. Dr. med. Bonkat is chairman of the European Guidelines Commission for Urological Infections, Member of the Committee of the ESIU (EAU Section of Infections in Urology) and the Expert Group on Infections of the German Society of Urology (DGU).

Priv. Doz. Dr. med. Malte Rieken

Urologist

Priv. Doz. Dr. med. Malte Rieken is board-certified urologist and lecturer at the University of Basel. His clinical training took place in Basel. In 2013, PD Dr. med. M. Rieken held a research fellowship in Urologic Oncology at Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, USA. From 2015 to 2016, he worked as a senior physician at University Hospital of Basel. Subsequently, PD Dr. med. Malte Rieken was senior physician at Medical University of Vienna, before joining alta uro AG in summer 2017.

Dr. med. Georg Müller

Urologist

Dr. med. Georg Müller is board-certified urologist . Most recently, he worked as a senior physician at the Department of Urology at the University Hospital in Basel. In 2015, he spent a year in sub-specialisation in robotic surgery (da Vinci) at the Renal Cancer Specialist Centre at the Frimley Park Hospital in England. During that time, Dr. med. Müller acquired comprehensive and profound knowledge in the field of robotic surgery, in particular, kidney-preserving renal tumour surgery.
